Dear Michael,
I would like you to know the great job David did in setting up and modifying my new boat. All of the work was done carefully and skillfully. It all not only works great but also looks great. I am enjoying the boat and am very happy with it. Please thank David on my behalf again for a job well done. And, although it is almost against my nature to ever say this, the price was fair, too.

David worked on both my Albatross OC2 and my OC1 which is a Fusion. .
My OC2 has been enjoyed by members of my women's Dragonboat Team and myself during training camps and regular paddles and so has seen a lot of action. David not only fixed the existing damages but also proactively strengthened areas where he foresaw problems so my boat can withstand the wear it usually takes over a season.
My OC1 is my baby and is paddled only by me. It's my racing shell and is much more delicate. It got damaged accidentally when been stored for the winter. David was meticulous with the repair so not only is it fixed but he used attention to detail and care of a plastic surgeon to ensure that the repair was hardly noticable.
David is a pleasure to work with. He provides constant updates on progress. When he finds something unexpected he sends photos with his questions and recommendations that gives options for how the work can proceed. His rates are more than reasonable.
I wholeheartedly recommend David and will definitely take my boats back to him for repair should I have the need.

Dear Dav Fekete,
I finally am taking a few minutes to put down in writing my appreciation for you repairing my Nelo Vanquish K1 this spring. It has been a good season and I am glad to see my boat in perfect shape every time I take it out. You will be glad to know that often get complement on how good and how “new” it looks (must be the paint job…).
I especially appreciated
- your genuine concern to maintain racing kayaks in top shape
- your perseverance in seeking the perfect finish (which you certainly accomplished on my boat!)
- your constant communication of the work progress
- and, finally but not least, your concern to maintain cost reasonable
